I hit a little bit of a speed bump, and will be switching programs. Upon delving into the depths of the forums (and I mean that, it wasn't made clear at all, and the creator even mentioned in the thread that he had been not mentioning it specifically), the creator of Novelty mentions very briefly that you cannot sell any games made with that program legally. Most of the work I've done so far is writing and making the graphics, so it's not too big of a loss. But I wanted everyone to know what's going on.
The good news, is with the program I'm changing to (Ren'py), I will be able to release the game on multiple platforms, and have several features within the game I wasn't able to do originally. I'm kind of excited about this, and I hope you are too!
As before, it's still too early to tell when the game will be ready for release. I'm treating this and the webmanga as my actual job, so I'm going to be sitting in front of the computer every day all day working on both the manga and the game. Yesterday, I only got up a few times (food, bathroom breaks, and for a brief time to wash the dishes that were piling up in the sink), so don't think that this little speed bump is going to hinder me too much.
